Wildercombe House during renovation

Wildercombe House during our renovations

Health & Safety

Health and Safety is a number one priority at Wildercombe House.

Mattresses are ‘Crib 5’ rated, so you will feel confident in knowing that no compromise in comfort or safety has been made, whilst fire retardance remains a priority.

A full and comprehensive fire alarm and emergency lighting system has been installed.  All rooms have electronic heat, light and sound sensors in the ceilings all of which are linked and controlled from the main control unit.  No human intervention is required, the system is fully automated.

For disabled guests, grab rails, pull-down rails, wet room shower seats, emergency pull-cords and vibrating pillow pads triggered by the fire alarm are standard in the appropriate rooms.
